Sabrina Carpenter’s charitable fund has raised over $1 million in just one year, supporting mental health, LGBTQ+ rights, and animal welfare – earning praise from fans and nonprofit leaders alike.
Sabrina Carpenter isn’t just delivering chart-topping hits, she’s making a lasting impact offstage too. In just 12 months, the pop sensation’s charitable initiative, The Sabrina Carpenter Fund, has surpassed $1 million in donations.
Backed by nonprofit PLUS1, the fund is now officially the organization’s fastest-growing artist-led initiative to date.
The fund champions causes that reflect Carpenter’s core values – including mental health advocacy, LGBTQ+ rights, and animal welfare. It directly supports grassroots and community organizations like PAPYRUS, a UK-based suicide prevention nonprofit, the global LGBTQ+ support network Rainbow Railroad, the JED Foundation, MusiCares, and Best Friends Animal Society.
"Sabrina's approach to philanthropy shows what's possible when an artist truly commits to embedding impact across their work," said PLUS1 CEO Marika Anthony-Shaw in a statement. "Sabrina is setting a new standard, one where social impact becomes woven into an artist's career to create meaningful lasting change.
Carpenter’s fundraising strategy is both innovative and immersive. From allocating a portion of her ticket sales to including philanthropic tie-ins with brand deals – such as her Erewhon smoothie benefiting the JED Foundation.
Carpenter is reimagining how artists can engage in activism. At her Salt Lake City tour stop, she even introduced a “cuddle lounge” filled with adoptable rescue animals. Meanwhile, her partnership with Catbird jewelry launched a successful text-to-donate campaign at show venues nationwide.
For fans, this milestone is no surprise. In fact, it’s just another reason they proudly support the singer-songwriter.
“It’s amazing to see Sabrina use her platform for good,” one fan shared on social media. “She’s not just making music we love, she’s helping people and animals in need. That’s the kind of artist we want to see thrive.”
Another added, “We’ve always admired her voice and stage presence, but this kind of passion for giving back makes her even more special. She’s setting an example the entire industry should notice.”
Carpenter is also preparing to release her upcoming album, Man’s Best Friend, on August 29. Reflecting on her creative process, she told Rolling Stone, “If I’m inspired to write and make something new, I would rather do that. Why would I wait three years just for the sake of waiting? It’s all about what feels right.”
With her growing charitable fund and fresh musical direction, Sabrina Carpenter continues to impress both fans and industry leaders alike—proving that using fame to foster positive change is not just possible but powerful.
