'The Valley' crew continue their time in Santa Barbara, but the men are spiraling in drama and dysfunction, while the women continue to carry the show with maturity and emotional intelligence.
The Valley is getting messier by the minute. Jesse Lally is completely spiraling – he even storms out in his underwear, downs wine before breakfast, and acts like a drunken fool during a winery tour. Things go from bad to worse when he and Michelle Lally get into a brutal fight. After she ignores his request to speak to their daughter, he calls her a hooker….again.

The episode opens with Michelle and Jesse attempting another tense conversation. Jesse is hurt that Michelle couldn't say anything kind about him during last week’s gratitude circle, while Michelle is baffled that he expects affection after calling her an escort just days earlier. Things come to a head during the wine tasting, when Jesse once again crosses a line by calling Michelle a “hooker” in front of everyone.
She storms off, and although the group tries to calm her, the damage is done. Later, in a private conversation (that literally everyone could hear), Jesse continues to push Michelle, questioning why she can’t just be happy for him and his new relationship. The back-and-forth spirals into accusations of infidelity, emotional abuse, and financial irresponsibility. Michelle ends the discussion with a heartbreaking question: “What do I have to do to make you stop?”
Meanwhile, Jax Taylor is back in Brittany Cartwright's texts, this time sharing that he’s been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Brittany is visibly emotional as she reflects on how difficult things have been, but admits she’s just relieved he isn’t rage texting her. She struggles to set boundaries, confiding in the group that she’s been conditioned to always put Jax first, making it hard to fully detach.
Zack Wickham shares during his confessional that he believes Brittany has been emotionally abused and says he’ll do everything he can to keep her from going back to Jax.
The group's attempt to enjoy Santa Barbara hits a bump when the party bus breaks down en route to a winery, which isn’t the worst thing in the world because Jesse was annoying the shit out of everyone and individual Ubers are a small reprieve. Michelle feels vindicated watching the group finally witness Jesse’s chaos in real time. After some logistical scrambling at a nearby gas station, they eventually make it to the winery.
Danny Booko makes a return and insists on sharing his over-the-top wine-tasting expertise as a former sommelier, though some in the group quietly worry about his drinking habits.
As the wine flows, more drama brews. Michelle and Jesse’s daughter calls mid-tasting, prompting Jesse to approach Michelle again. The brief interaction turns into another explosive exchange. Jesse claims he sees “evidence” in their bank statements suggesting Michelle is being paid by other men, while Michelle throws it back at him, referencing a payment he allegedly received from a gay man. Brittany finally steps in and urges Jesse to apologize. He denies believing the rumors, but the damage lingers.
Back at the house, things turn toward Danny. Janet Caperna catches him secretly taking shots of tequila, and when he skips dinner, Nia Sanchez explains that he’s simply exhausted. But Jasmine Goode isn't buying it. She brings up a past incident at a Halloween party where Danny was inappropriate toward her and her girlfriend, Melissa Marie. Nia deflects, while the rest of the group starts whispering behind her back. Nia eventually leaves the dinner table to “sit in the sauna,” just as conversations about Danny’s behavior grow louder.
What begins as a lighthearted dinner game, “Who’s Your Hall Pass?” quickly spirals. Between Luke Broderick choosing The Little Mermaid and Jason Caperna shouting out Lady Gaga, there are a few laughs, but tension simmers beneath the surface. Brittany becomes frustrated, feeling like her personal life is always under a microscope while others (like Danny and Nia) get a pass. She calls them out for disingenuous, sparking a conversation about what it means to be real with the group. Eventually, everyone leaves the table in frustration.
Zack tells Nia what was said about Danny and their relationship, especially by Brittany. Nia is stunned and suspects Brittany is only lashing out because her own life feels like it’s falling apart. Meanwhile, Brittany continues to unravel emotionally, ending the episode in tears, exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of who she can trust.

If there’s one thing The Valley keeps proving, it’s that the men are consistently the messiest part of the group. Jesse’s ongoing campaign to villainize Michelle in the aftermath of their toxic marriage has crossed every possible line. Jax continues to emotionally manipulate Brittany with rage texts and half-hearted confessions. Danny’s drinking is no longer quirky, it’s concerning. And even Zack, casually threw his best friend under the bus.
Meanwhile, the women are carrying the emotional weight on their backs, setting boundaries, showing up for each other, and actually trying to grow. That said, we’re intrigued on where this argument between Brittany and Nia will go. If we have a hunch, it will be just a blip before Brittany realizes that she’s just overwhelmed and the exposure of her and Jax’s issues, is just the price of being the most successful reality star on the show.
