Bravo is reviving 'Ladies of London' with a fresh cast of British elites, launching 'The Valley: Persian Style' with stars from 'Shahs of Sunset,' and stirring the pot with 'Wife Swap: The Real Housewives' Edition.
The Ocean State is about to get a whole lot louder. Bravo announced today (May 7) that The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is officially in the works, marking the network's latest addition to its ever-expanding Real Housewives universe, and fans are already spiraling.
Set against the backdrop of coastal charm, generational wealth, and a state so small there's no such thing as secrets. According to the network's announcement, the series will spotlight "a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations."
With decades-long friendships, tangled family trees, and thriving businesses, these women are ready to bring a uniquely New England twist to the franchise. Bravoholics are eager to meet the ladies behind the highly-anticipated series.
While Andy Cohen has yet to confirm a premiere date or cast, hopeful viewers are crossing their fingers for a summer drop – just in time to add some extra heat to the East Coast. In true Bravoholic fashion, the fan reactions have already reached a fever pitch.
"I'M SHAKING. PHYSICALLY SHAKING!!! 🫨🙏🏼🔥🔥🔥," one user posted on Instagram. Another begged, "We need previews of the shows now."
Though some were expecting cities like Chicago, Nashville, or even Boston to be next in line, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island has quickly won over skeptics. Many are now praising Bravo for spotlighting a state rich in old money and waterfront estates.
Fans are questioning whether or not Taylor Swift's Newport property will even make an appearance. Swift's famous Rhode Island home, often called "High Watch" or "Holiday House," sits right at 16 Bluff Avenue in the charming, historic area of Watch Hill in Westerly.
Rhode Island joins the ranks of Real Housewives powerhouses like Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, Beverly Hills, and New Jersey. Past spin-offs have also taken fans to Salt Lake City, Potomac, Miami, Dallas, Dubai, and D.C.
Today marks a massive day for Bravoholics.
Fan-favorite Ladies of London, which aired for three seasons between 2014 and 2017, is officially making a comeback. Meanwhile, The Valley is expanding with a fresh new spin: The Valley: Persian Style (working title), featuring several familiar faces from Shahs of Sunset. And if that's not enough, Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition is coming, letting some of your favorite Housewives swap spouses in what promises to be one of the wildest experiments in the franchise's history.
